<strong>12%<\/strong>, and in the <a href=\"https:\/\/brand24.com\/blog\/chatgpt-vs-claude-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">ChatGPT vs Claude social listening report<\/a>, it nearly <strong>35% of all mentions<\/strong> in this project, with a total reach of <strong>221.8M<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;AI slop&#8221; has become the go-to term people use when talking about how they <strong>hate AI-generated content.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#e8f4ee\">To let you get the scale: TikTok alone now has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2025\/nov\/19\/tiktok-users-power-reduce-ai-content-on-feeds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">1.3 billion videos labeled as AI-generated<\/a> on its platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;AI slop&#8221; phrase is the community&#8217;s informal way of filtering for such low-quality content: <strong>three out of every four uses of &#8220;slop&#8221; or &#8220;AI slop&#8221; are negative.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-gets\"><strong>What gets called risk is highest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"generative-ai-brand\"><strong>How people discuss generative AI for brand content<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides the posts that talk about AI content in general, there\u2019s a part <strong>aimed straight at brands from various industries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I analyzed them separately to spot patterns in <strong>how people discuss brand AI content<\/strong>, what they think brands are getting right, and where they\u2019re doing wrong when it comes to <strong>using generative AI for content.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
