In a rising and more sophisticated competition for attention, reputation, and brand visibility, social listening becomes a powerful weapon. It helps serious brands keep their finger on the pulse, detect potential crises, and improve return on investment by even 25%.

The thing is that the market is flooded with tools.

Two specific things I tested and like about Brandwatch are:

  • Iris AI + AI Query Writer – Iris is the intelligence model that runs across the whole toolkit. It allows you to filter data based on natural language briefs, generate dashboards, and answer ad-hoc questions through the “Ask Iris” chat. Huge time-savior for analysts.
  • Deepest historical archive in the category – reportedly 1.4 trillion historical posts and 70,000+ podcast transcripts. If you need to compare a 2018 crisis to a 2026 one, Brandwatch is one of the few platforms you can actually do it.
